Factory Divisions

Access Industries provides quality supported employment services for people with disabilities through its factory divisions. A wide range of employment opportunities exist through these divisions, including general process work involving packaging and assembly (all divisions), commercial sewing, light engineering, fabrication and timber work (Newcastle Division), and commercial laundry work (Lithgow).

Access Industries offers excellent employment conditions including a standard 34 hour working week for supported employees (usually Monday to Thursday inclusive), award-based wages, and occupational superannuation. A wide range of training opportunities is provided: including induction, on-the-job skills development, occupational health and safety, individual planning and, where appropriate, training in the use of public transport. Equal Access Employment Service

Equal Access Employment Service provides assistance to people who have a mild intellectual and sometimes other disabilities to find and keep a job in open employment, earning full award wages.

Because we are fully Government funded, our candidates are not charged fees, nor do we charge employers to recruit new workers through our service. As well as assisting people to find work, our staff are available to provide one-to-one training and give on-the-job support, to ensure a successful placement. This support is also provided free of charge to the employer and the new employee.
