The Business Services Division is the principal area of direct employment for people with disabilities within Access Industries. It comprises two sites in Seven Hills within the Sydney Metropolitan area, one at Newcastle and one at Lithgow in the Blue Mountains.

The 'Clean Room' located at Prospect Hwy, Seven Hills is a modern facility that is licensed to perform secondary packaging of products approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for human consumption and the The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authoriity (APVMA) for animal health.

We operate under GMP conditions, with modern automated packaging machines supported by a large flexible workforce to ensure maximum efficiency.

The facility has the capacity to store up to 60 pallets and accept semi trailers for pickup and delivery.

Health Products & Pharmaceuticals

All of our sites have the capacity to undertake a variety of general packaging and assembly work.

Our main location at Station Road, Seven Hills, specialises in high volume items. We have modern processing equipment and a large flexible workforce to process the work. This site has the capacity to store hundreds of pallets and accept both semi trailers and containers.

With an IS0 9001 Certified Management System our Newcastle factory is a large flexible operation, which has the capacity to process high volume items and can accept both semi trailers and containers direct from the wharf.

Our Lithgow operation is one of the major Commercial Laundries within the Blue Mountains area. With modern equipment and a flexible workforce, we service many major Commercial Businesses in the area. We also provide a daily pickup and delivery service if required.

Commercial Laundry

At our Newcastle site, we have a large timber processing facility, specialising in made to order pallets, wooden crates and boxes, pegs and wedges. With over 20 years of experience, our facility is equipped for woodworking, dressing, sanding and docking. We can process in hardwood or pine and whether it's Kiln dried and fumigated, we can also accommodate export pallet requirements.

We are widely acknowledged and highly acclaimed for our experience in designing products in accordance to the needs and specifications of our valued customers. And as one of the largest purchasers of Australian timber in the Greater Newcastle area, we have built up strong, reliable agreements with the timber mills on NSW's North Coast.

Our Newcastle site has the capacity to store over 2000 made pallets, so large orders are not a problem.

Timber Processing

Access Industries has it's own brand of commercial outdoor tables and benches called Parkland Tables and Benches. Manufactured at our Newcastle facility, the galvanised steel frames and 100% Australian Blackbutt hardwood timber tops make Parkland Tables and Benches ideal for parks, schools, businesses or any general recreational area.

Our Parkland Tables and Benches can be made as freestanding units or can be fixed into the ground. All the timber is dressed and sanded before painting and there is a large selection of paint colours to choose from. We can also cater for special requirements such as powder-coated frames.

Parkland Tables and Benches

A general Engineering and Fabrication Division is located at our Newcastle facility, which enables us to process mild steel and aluminium.

We can procure the steel and then manipulate it to create anything from 'A' frames to road signs to manufacturing mild steel components. We can "mig" weld to your specifications and whether it be flat or round bar, RHS or angled, with our 30 tonne press we can bend steel to your requirements. We also have an electrostatic spray-painting facility.

Engineering & Fabrication

One of the more traditional divisions within Access Industries is the Commercial Sewing Division, also located at our Newcastle site.

Setup for both industrial and domestic sewing requirements Access Industries can process your sewing requirements effectively and efficiently. We have a table cutting facility allowing us to manage large sheets of material.

The mainstay of our sewing division is the production of 100% Australian made sand filled door draught stoppers.
